Service Description: OCI - Pavement Condition Data synced with Cartegraph. Updated on an ongoing basis. Every year the contractor (Data Transfer Solutions - DTS) surveys one third of Arlington maintained streets, the results of which are incorporated into this dataset. City staff sometimes manually update this data. It also updates nightly based on time since last improvements. If city performs maintenance or rebuilds, that is incorporated into the algorithm to update the street condition.
Geometry and Fields are copied from City.TRANS.RoadCenterline, which is the official City Roads layer. It is edited by PDS GIS Tech and used by PD and Fire for dispatch. Discussions of consolidating the PW and PDS layers in the future have occured (2023). This feature class contains all street segments in the City, including those the City does not maintain (ie TxDOT, Private, Other Municipality)."
Pavement Future Repair is an internal feature class to help with planning that is not integrated with any software.
Extent Description Citywide Dataset
Spatial Reference Type Projected
Geographic Coordinate Reference
Projection NAD_1983_StatePlane_Texas_North_Central_FIPS_4202_Feet
Well-Known Identifier 2276
